“Indoor” training

Not ready for the water experience? Join our indoor crew for adults only. Indoor rowing (erging) combined with body weight exercises allow you to improve your fitness and make new friends. Our expert coaches guide you through each session.

Summer Programming

Designed for ages 12 through high school graduation, we offer several summer programs to row, grow, and make new friends.

Guest Rowing

Not from “‘round here?” Buffalo Bayou Rowing Center permits guest rowing as long as seats are available. Guests are not permitted to row singles nor row bow in a double or quad. All visitors must email BBRC to make arrangements to row. Guest rowing is fee-based and limited to 2 rows per month.

Canoe/Kayak/SUP rentals

Coming soon- Not everyone wants to row, but everyone wants to see the Bayou from a new perspective. Please note, due to our insurance regulations, there is no public launching or landing of watercraft from the BBRC docks

Oarsmen’s Club

Join our Oarsmen’s Club to help support BBRC while you meet new friends! You will have access to special events and happy hours, first access to seats with Community Water Days and be listed in our Services Directory. You don’t need to step foot in a boat, nor know how to row to become a BBRC Oarsman. Click “Become an Oarsman” for the application and “Join Today” to pay the annual dues.

*the Oarsmen’s Club does not include coached or regular rowing privileges. Rowing access refers to invite-only or Community Water Days.
